BRIONI and LALIQUE Unveil Dualité: A Triumph of Artistry and Haute Parfumerie

Revealed at Salone del Mobile on the occasion of BRIONI’s 80th anniversary, this limited-edition creation stands as a paragon of artisanal grandeur and sophistication.

An extraordinary collector’s piece, Dualité is restricted to 18 flacons – each signed, numbered, and destined for aesthetes and collectors. Conceived over four years of meticulous collaboration between BRIONI Design Director Norbert Stumpfl and LALIQUE Artistic and Creative Director Marc Larminaux, Dualité embodies an exploration of opposing forces rendered harmoniously: a fusion of heritage and modernity, of structure and spontaneity.

An Icon of Form: The Crystal Flacon

Forged in fire and shaped with almost architectural precision, the flacon emerges as an octagonal prism – an ode to BRIONI’s eight-decade legacy of tailored perfection. The flacon’s external geometry, sleek and refined, is juxtaposed with an interior eruption in crystalline form.

A Fragrance of Discreet Power and Poetic Precision

At the core of Dualité lies an Extrait de Parfum composed by the legendary Michel Almairac – an alchemist of scent whose creations define modern elegance. The composition opens with an abstract ozonic accord, evoking a breath of fresh air, brightened by the crisp acidity of green apple. A heart of powdery violet melds with the sensuality of Ambroxan, while the richness of iris butter – harvested and refined over seven years – grounds the composition in rarity and opulence. The base lingers with the gravitas of cedarwood and green moss, softened by the dry, golden glow of amber.

“I sought to sculpt a fragrance that embodies urban refinement and timeless style,” noted Almairac. “By elevating the violet accord and marrying it to woody and amber notes, I created a scent that is both intimate and unforgettable.”

Contained within the generous 340ml crystal flacon, the fragrance unfolds gradually – allowing its symphonic intricacies to evolve with grace and dignity.
