The Shape of Tension
Photographed and directed by Thanos Houtos and styled by Shindo WATANABE, the editorial explores the tension between body and architecture in the streets of Ginza, Tokyo. Against the city’s precise lines, reflective surfaces, and imposing structures, a singular masculine presence emerges — shifting between strength and softness, definition and ambiguity. Each image becomes a study in contrast, where the body interrupts the geometry of the city and creates a space between opposing forms.
