Flesh & Ether

Bodies Between Worlds, a visual exploration of youth identity in a liminal state—caught between the physical and the digital, flesh and algorithm, permanence and transience. At a time when fashion increasingly shifts toward digital expression and AI-generated imagery, this series emphasizes the value of real-world collaboration: stylists, makeup artists, and models working side by side, blending tangible creativity with global connections through digital networks.

Photographed by Ahmed Khan, now based in London, the series merges the ether of digital space with human presence to shape the work. Through sculptural fashion—latex balloon gowns and sharp tailoring—surreal lighting gradients, and alien beauty looks, Flesh & Ether captures the tension between skin and screen, reality and performance, while subtle AI intervention refines the designs without losing the spirit of the human touch.

All clothing were produced by the Balloon Fashion Designer, with slight alterations using AI manipulation on the White Dress-Design.
