CHANEL’s Métiers d’Art 2024/25 Collection

In Hangzhou, a city where history meets technological innovation, the collection draws inspiration from antique paravents. One particularly exquisite paravent captivated Gabrielle Chanel so much that she placed it her study in her Rue Cambon apartment in Paris.

Adorned with scenes of daily life from the past, set against the enchanting backdrop of Hangzhou’s West Lake, it serves as a timeless connection to this very place.

Now, Hangzhou becomes the setting for CHANEL’s Métiers d’art 2024/25 collection.

Long, structured coats designed for both day and evening exude an air of mystique and elegance.

Crafted in precious tweeds, satin, and velvet, some pieces further adorned with delicate floral embroidery, they create an enchanting and enveloping presence.

Duffle coats and both short and oversized jackets are embellished with brandebourgs, and their interiors are lined with silk satin. Silky pockets, pagoda sleeves, mandarin collars, and glow-in-the-dark braids embroidered by Atelier Montex further enhance the collection.

This blend of refined luxury and meticulous attention to detail is as evident as it is discreet.
