CHANEL Launches Arts & Culture Vol. 1 — Now Available in Zurich
CHANEL unveils the inaugural edition of Arts & Culture, a new magazine dedicated to creative dialogue across disciplines — from contemporary art to cinema, literature, and beyond. Curated with the Maison’s signature rigor and refinement, Vol. 1 offers an editorial platform for in-depth artistic and intellectual exchange.
The launch was also celebrated in Zurich, marking the city as one of only 20 global locations to receive physical distribution of the publication, alongside London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Milan, New York, Paris, and others.
Extending over a century of commitment to the arts, the magazine celebrates the last five years of partnerships with artists and cultural institutions, led by CHANEL Arts, Culture & Heritage and Yana Peel, President of Arts, Culture & Heritage at CHANEL.

One of the standout features of ARTS & CULTURE Vol. 1 is its emphasis on artists, including essays on Cao Fei, LuYang, Savanah Leaf and Tracey Emin, as well as portfolios by the winners of the CHANEL Next Prize, offering a glimpse into emerging talents and their contributions to the arts. The magazine also explores the heritage of the House, including an interview with architect Peter Marino, an essay by art historian RoseLee Goldberg, and revealing a unique commissioned portfolio by photographer Roe Ethridge of the CHANEL History Collection.
For those in Switzerland, complimentary copies of Arts & Culture Vol. 1 are now available — while stock lasts — at Never Stop Reading, the independent bookstore that continues to shape Zurich’s literary and intellectual scene.
Rooted in the spirit of CHANEL’s Arts & Culture Fund, the publication reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting global artistic communities and fostering meaningful cultural exchange.
An object of both thought and beauty — Arts & Culture Vol. 1 is a collector’s piece for those who read between the lines.
